EP 3: The First Walk Under the Rainbow: Safe Spaces with Claire Azzopardi Lane
University of Malta academic Claire Azzopardi Lane works hand in hand with
several NGOs, including MGRM, on LGBTIQ+ research. As a proud member of
the community herself, she has been engaged in activism locally from a very
young age. She is now a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty for Social Wellbeing,
specifically in the areas of gender and sexuality.
In this interview, Claire looks back at the first pride, and the spaces for the community that came before and around that time.
